My new exhibition at Dimbola Lodge on the Isle of Wight opened with a busy private view on Thursday last week.
After giving a short speech about my work and my methods, the enthusiastic visitors kept me busy for the rest of the evening with questions and kind comments.
For 15 years between 1860 to 1875, Dimbola Lodge was the home and workplace of Julia Margaret Cameron (1815 – 1879), one of the most important early photographers and recognised the world over as a pioneer of photography as art.
The exhibition runs at this historic venue until 13th May.
See www.dimbola.co.uk for more details.
